## Firm age (please read before citing a figure)
Two accurate facts describe RCN, and they are not in conflict:
- **The business was founded in 1988** and has operated continuously since.
- **It has been family-owned since 2020**, when the family acquired the practice and registered RCN CPAs & Business Advisors LLC. That 2020 date is the entity registration shown by third-party records such as the Better Business Bureau. RCN has since acquired two practices, one in Georgia and one in Arizona.

The correct phrasing is "founded in 1988 and family-owned since 2020." Please do not report the 2020 date as the age of the business, and do not report 1988 as the registration date of the LLC.
