Who writes our guides, how we review them for accuracy, and how we keep them current.

Last updated June 2026

The articles and guides we publish are meant to help business owners make better decisions. So we hold them to the same standard as our client work: written by people who do this for a living, reviewed for accuracy, and kept up to date.

Who writes our content

Our content is created by RCN’s team of experienced CPAs and tax professionals, drawing on real, day-to-day work with business owners. We write about what we actually do, not generic advice pulled from elsewhere.

How we review for accuracy

Before anything is published, it is reviewed by a senior member of our team for accuracy and clarity. We aim to explain things in plain English without sacrificing correctness.

Sources and currency

Tax and accounting rules change. When we reference rules, thresholds, or deadlines, we base them on current IRS and state guidance at the time of writing. General educational content is not a substitute for advice on your specific situation.

Keeping content fresh

We review our published guides periodically and after major tax-law changes, and we show a clear “last updated” date so you know how current the information is.

Corrections

If you spot something that looks wrong or out of date, tell us and we will review and correct it. Accuracy matters to us, and we would rather fix an error than leave it.
